The author worked for the Dubai police force for more than twenty seven years. He took early retirement from the work at his own request to conduct scientific research and write specialized studies. He spent the bulk of his service in the administrative field, holding several supervisory and executive positions, presiding over many department work teams, and participating in several leadership committees. He passed a number of professional and vocational training courses.
The author’s field of interest focuses on two dimensions, management and policing. He contributed to the provision of a number of development initiatives – most notably in human resource management, total quality management, managing change, motivation management. He is currently dedicating his time and putting a great deal of effort to publish his next book “innovation in the government sector”.
In addition, he delivers historical studies on contemporary Arab issues. His work and endeavour in scientific research has been recognised and appreciated by federal and local government organizations within the U.A. E.
He holds a master of arts degree from the United Kingdom, majoring in human resource management from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2009. He has also been admitted as an assessor in the European Excellence criteria from the European Quality of Excellence Forum in 2011; his bachelor of arts degree is in history, from the Beirut Arab University in the Republic of Lebanon in 1999.
