Since I published the motivation book (Part I) in 2014, I have received many calls and emails from readers, colleagues and friends, asking me, when the second part of the book will be released. My answer is that I am currently working on another topic – namely, innovation. I have justified my decision for many reasons:
-
Innovation has become a crucial subject, not only in the UAE work environment, but also in a large number of states, organizations and companies;
-
The government of the UAE have declared that the year of 2015 is the year of innovation, and stand behind all initiatives which can enhance such a strategy;
-
The innovation process has enormous impact on government productivity and sustainability, and has deep roots in formal and informal organizations;
-
Motivational techniques and change strategies are regarded as decisive factors in introducing constant innovation, and these two components have been highlighted in my two previous publications.
Thus, I believe that innovation nowadays has become a vital issue within many states, governments, organizations and corporations, as well of course for individuals. I therefore decided to work on this dominant topic.
