The author created a personal library at home in 1981, and to date it contains more than 20,000 volumes. This library has been catalogued into nine categories: religion, literature, law, politics, management, policing, history, geography and bibliography. These books are in three languages: Arabic, English and French. Most of them were brought from the West and the East. In addition, He has also established a small section for rare and antique books.
In order to substantially broaden public knowledge, and to provide a supportive learning environment, the author is proud to present his impressive library to the local and international community by building up an e-library and spreading this knowledge electronically.
This ambitious venture will take approximately a year and a half after a successful six- months pilot project. The scheme aims to help Arab researchers, specialists, and readers to improve the source of their information. In addition it will assist non- Arabic speakers to search for some rare and useful publications in the Arabic language.
